Why I Created Notami

Notami isn’t just another journaling or note-taking app.

It was born out of something deeply personal — and necessary.

Over time, I’ve seen firsthand how frustrating, even impossible, it can be to use most apps if you live with a motor, visual, or hearing disability.

Accessibility is too often treated as a feature — an afterthought, a checkbox, a compromise.

But it shouldn’t be.

For me, accessibility is the foundation.

Notami is being built with a clear intention: to create a simple, respectful, and inclusive space for anyone who wants to write, reflect, stay organized, or just get thoughts out of their head — without barriers.

Journaling has a quiet power.

It helps us slow down, process emotions, track patterns, and care for our mental well-being.

For many, it’s a lifeline — and I believe that lifeline should be easy to reach.
